Dominion Atlantic Railway    Sissiboo River Bridge    30 November 2010

In November 2010 the  bridge  structure  was  still  complete.
It appears here the same as it has for the last hundred years.
Beside  the  two  piers  seen  here at the right,  barely  visible
above the surface of the mud flat exposed by the low tide,
note the stumps of the piles that a hundred years ago
supported the first railway bridge here.
