Dominion Atlantic Railway Sissiboo River Bridge 18 February 2012 1:51pm
Another bridge span has been demolished. At the base of the pier
second from the east (right in this view) a drill can be seen, being
positioned to drill holes in the concrete pier for dynamite charges.
The time is about ½ hour before low tide.
This photograph was taken with the camera about 900m [2900 feet] from the scene.

These few ties are now the only remnant of the railway track that for more
than a hundred years carried freight and passenger trains across this river.
